I have three little ones and this year Easter will look a little bit different considering we are in the middle of a pandemic. Since we won’t be officially attending church services this week and weekend, I wanted a few activities to do!
Check out my three simple Easter activities below!
Cross Paintings
Take some painters tape or masking tape and lay out a hill and cross on large white paper. Have your children paint all around the masking tape (or over it as my toddler did). Let the paint dry and then pull up the tape! I ADORE these paintings!
Jesus Rises Craft
Use the PDF link below to color and cut out Jesus. Then tape or glue Jesus to a popsicle stick.
Grab a foam or paper cup and punch a hole in the bottom. You can cover the cup with gray paper if you’d like (or paint). The cup represents the tomb.
Resurrection Rolls
These are delicious and oh so easy!
You’ll need:
Marshmallows
Crescent rolls
Cinnamon (1 tablespoon)
Sugar (1/4 cup)
Butter (1 tablespoon melted)
Directions:
Roll the marshmallow in butter and then cinnamon sugar
Place the marshmallow in the middle of the triangle crescent
Wrap the crescent dough around the marshmallow
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes
The marshmallow represents Jesus being put into the tomb. And just as He was not there on the third day, the marshmallow also “disappears” while baking.
